CHERI QEMU Working Group

The CHERI QEMU working group collaborates on adding and maintaining support for CHERI-enabled processors within the QEMU emulator. QEMU is a widely used virtualisation platform, and a robust CHERI port allows developers to experiment with CHERI software stacks on their desktop without special hardware. The group coordinates contributions to the upstream QEMU project and shares binary builds for popular host architectures. Participation is open to anyone interested in virtualisation, CHERI ISA support or emulator development.
